Clay, Reimagined
Mineral forward, waterborne clay for form, surface, and finish—soft in the hand, long open time, strong cure, for a heat-free air-cure ceramic finish.
Most air-dry clays rely mainly on evaporation to dry. Artisan Clay is an air-cure clay that builds internal strength, giving extended working time, better ability to trim sand and refine, and finish ceramic.
the eco system
Make it yours, make it ceramic
Soft and responsive, it shapes easily, refines cleanly, and builds strength in layers on a receptive white ground for vibrant color—without the dullness, synthetic feel, fumes, or kiln firing of other clays.
Mineral + bio-based ingredients
Made from over 98% earth minerals, plant, and bio-derived ingredients, it combines enduring toughness with a more sustainable life cycle—avoiding the permanence of plastics and the centuries-long legacy of fired ceramics.
Grand Opening
10% off your first order. Discover a clay that feels soft in the hand, moves with ease, and cures hard.
Most air-dry clays harden as water evaporates. Artisan Clay strengthens as you work, giving you hours to shape and refine with ease—bringing a more forgiving process from form to finish, with less skill, less time, and no heat required.
The Eco System
Each stage builds on the one before it, creating a stronger, more refined final result.

Paint with Clay + Pigment Activator
Blend clay, pigment, and Pigment Activator to create soft washes, layered passages, and expressive marks with a ceramic feel. Color stays mineral forward, grounded, and integrated with the surface.
Rooted in tradition, carves beautifully
Made for shaping and everything after—carve, incise, drill, inlay, and trim on a receptive surface grounded in the tradition of gesso and carving, for longer working time, cleaner refinement, and greater control.
Responsive Form to Refined Finish.
Eco Forma begins soft and responsive so you can shape, throw, refine, and reopen. Dip then strengthens and refines, creating a receptive ground for image and mixed media.

Dip
The dip strengthens the form, refines the surface, and creates a receptive ground for saturated media and color.
Supporting a more ceramic-like aesthetic with reopening, controlled refinement, carving, trimming, and stronger detail retention.

Why We Made It
The clay we wanted did not exist. Eco Forma began in a small Colorado studio with a clear goal: to create a clay that reflects our values and supports exploration. Over time, it became clear that the entire process had to be developed as one connected system.
